Ahmetov and companies: journalists published a new investigation on Cypriot offshores of oligarchs
November 14, 2023Former presidential adviser Alexey Arestovich has twisted his own forecast-meme about “two-three weeks.” This time, he wrote: “Two-three wars.”
The former presidential adviser posted this on his Instagram account.
He mentioned that the first war lasted from 24.02.22 to 02.04.22.
“Ukraine cleanly won this war,” Arestovich claimed.
The second war began on 02.04.22 and ended on 01.11.23 (the day when an article by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, appeared in Time magazine).
“We ended this war in a draw. There was a lot of hope, but it ended in a draw. A country with such levels of lawlessness, corruption, amorality, and a complete lack of sense cannot win in a war. The main reason for the lack of victory is that we do not know the goal of victory we are trying to achieve. We win – what next? What country are we building? Why? For what purpose?” summarized Arestovich.
According to Arestovich, the third war began on 01.11.23, and in his opinion, “we will lose it.”
“Because the realm of fools will slay them, and the complacency of the simple will destroy them,” Arestovich quoted lines from the Bible.
Opinions among users in the comments were divided. Some believe that the former presidential adviser voiced the “bitter truth,” while others accuse him of fleeing Ukraine. Many comments even announce that they are unfollowing him.
Earlier, Arestovich admitted that he misled Ukrainians with statements about the rapid victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, the former presidential adviser mentioned a stalemate on the front and the necessity to start peaceful negotiations with Russia.
