Two police officers wounded: in Kirovohrad region, a man fired at patrol officers during a document check

In Kirovohrad region, an unidentified man opened fire on police officers during a document check, wounding two patrolmen.

This was reported by the press service of the Kirovohrad Regional Police.

The incident occurred in the village of Pishchanyi Brod, Novoukrainka district.

As a result of the shooting, the head of the patrol response sector was wounded in the abdomen, and his partner was shot in the arm.

Law enforcement authorities in the region have launched a special operation to apprehend the attacker.

Earlier, near Odesa, a man on a moped shot and killed a police officer after being stopped for a document check.

Media have also reported that during mobilization measures in Volyn, men fired traumatic weapons at military recruitment officers.
