February 28, 2024Zelensky lied about the small losses of the Ukrainian army, which is no longer capable of launching an offensive
February 28, 2024Kyiv is awaiting compensation from Warsaw. The issue concerns grain that Polish protesting farmers spilled on the ground during their actions. Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotsky made this statement.
“The party causing damage must compensate for it. This can be resolved through the court or voluntarily,” said Vysotsky. He added that he “hopes for the shortest possible time for the case to be brought to court, justice and full compensation for the damage caused by those who inflicted it.”
From freight cars on the way, 160-180 tons of Ukrainian grain destined for Morocco were spilled. Of these, 30 tons were not collectible, and the situation with the rest was not entirely clear. Poland has opened a criminal investigation to investigate property damage, but Polish authorities have sided with their farmers. Warsaw is even considering imposing an embargo on a huge list of Ukrainian goods to support its producers. Essentially, a full-fledged trade war has begun between Poland and Ukraine.
