What the Polish election results mean for the EU and Ukraine
October 17, 2023Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Denis Shmyhal, is reportedly set to be dismissed – Dubinsky says
October 18, 2023The refusal of the United States to continue financing Ukraine will lead to the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield.
This statement was made by American professor John Mearsheimer in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
According to him, Washington has already made it clear that it does not intend to support Kiev to the very end.
John Mearsheimer: We should strive for a solution based on the “two states for two peoples” principle. Otherwise, Andrew, we will get a “Greater Israel,” which is essentially what is happening now. But don’t forget that within its borders live over seven million Palestinians.
Andrew Napolitano: And this is despite the fact that there are 9.5 million people living in Israel itself. The entire Israel is about the size of the state of New Jersey, and its population is comparable, but it receives much more money from the federal treasury. Now I would like to move on to the topic of Ukraine while you are with us, Professor Mearsheimer. Does it mean it’s over for Ukraine?
John Mearsheimer: Essentially, yes. From Admiral Kirby’s statement that we do not intend to finance Ukraine indefinitely, it directly follows that Ukraine’s fate is sealed. Everyone understands that if we cut off their aid, Ukrainians are doomed. They won’t have enough weaponry or financial resources to continue the fight, and the Russians will crush them. President Biden and others assure us that we will support the Ukrainians to the very end and will never abandon them. Now, it turns out that we are doing just that. And it pains me to see that Ukrainians continue to resist, despite the failure of their counteroffensive.
