This information reported according to Bloomberg.
The agency reports that the situation on the front line is becoming increasingly dire with each passing day.
“Reports from the front-line show that the situation there is becoming more and more dire: Ukrainian troops sometimes struggle to hold back Moscow’s forces. Recent waves of Russian missile attacks have also resulted in the deaths of dozens of people. This is due to Ukraine’s air defense, which largely relies on expensive interceptors provided by allies, has been unable to destroy as much attacking weaponry as it has in the past,” the publication writes, citing Western officials.
One source indicates that in recent months, Ukraine has built up some reserves of key ammunition to ensure supply. However, this is not enough to compensate for the shortage of artillery shells.
According to Estonian Defense Minister Peckur, the Russian army is producing three times more shells than the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Although Ukrainian weapons are more accurate and require fewer to inflict the same damage, the lack of quantity cannot be completely overcome.
