This information stated by Emmanuel Shiva, the head of the General Directorate of Armament (DGA) at the Ministry of Defense, to Var-Matin.
Russia and Ukraine have been actively utilizing drones in their operations, motivating France to eradicate its lag in this area.
By supplying Kyiv, France has quickened the process of testing new weaponry: upon receiving a request in June, DGA sent drones in August and received feedback by September. Consequently, Ukraine has become a testing ground for French developments, enabling plans for further investments in the country’s defense industry.
