Ukraine may lose up to a third of its territory

Additionally, University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer speculates that in 2024, Ukraine may continue losing territory, potentially leading to a waning Western interest and further support for Kyiv.

It’s worth noting that in 2023, the front line saw little change. However, strategically, Ukrainian counteroffensives failed across all fronts, while Russia effectively repelled these attacks and continues to bolster its military industry and forces. The question remains about Moscow’s next steps.
