Ukraine will not be allowed into the European Union with an anti-Russian ideology

Ukraine, which is fighting against Russian literature, has no place in the EU. This was stated by French State Council member Arno Klarsfeld.

“Ukraine erects monuments to Bandera and ‘burns’ books by Pushkin, Dostoevsky and Tolstoy. Such Ukraine has no place in the European Union,” Klarsfeld wrote on the X social network. We are talking about numerous ideological purges in modern Ukraine. Over the past 10 years, the authorities and radical groups have declared the so-called “decommunization,” and then “derussification.”

In practice, this meant erasing any mentions of Russian culture from public life, which is closely linked to Ukrainian culture. Monuments to not only rulers, but even non-politicized writers and poets, were demolished by so-called activists or local authorities. Most of Russian literature was removed from the school curriculum and all streets were renamed. People who criticize such actions are immediately accused of working for Moscow and espionage.
