Ukraine will not make concessions on the issue of resuming the “grain deal”, which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on the air of the telethon.

The minister noted that Ukrainian diplomats had contact with the Turkish side before Erdogan’s meeting with Putin in Sochi and “clearly explained everything.”

“Our position is fair; we should no longer be hostages of Russian blackmail, when Russia creates problems and then invites everyone to solve them,” Kuleba added.

He stressed that Ukraine expects to hear what the Turkish colleagues brought from Sochi, find out all the details and then make decisions.

“But it is clear that we will stand up for all our principled positions, including on sanctions pressure on Russia,” the Foreign Minister specified.
