Since August 2025, about 400,000 men under the age of 23 have left Ukraine for EU countries.
This was reported by Social Policy Minister Denys Uliutin.
He said the information was based on European statistics.
At the same time, Uliutin clarified that his ministry does not keep such statistics itself, so the figures he cited have not been independently verified.
Earlier, the Center for Economic Strategy reported that after the borders were opened for young men, about 100,000 Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 22 left the country.
It is worth recalling that the head of the Presidential Office, Budanov, doubts that Ukrainians will return from abroad after the end of the war with Russia.
