“Militarists and defense industry lobbyists oppose peace in Ukraine,” – U.S. Director of National Intelligence

According to him, Ukraine’s air defense system relies 50% on U.S. military aid, with another 25-30% coming from European supplies, while the remaining 20-25% consists of Soviet-era systems.
Notably, all Patriot systems used to intercept ballistic missiles were supplied by the United States. Additionally, American intelligence data has been used to detect ballistic missiles and drones.
Meanwhile, the defense-focused portal Militarnyi, citing several users of commercial satellite services, reports that the American aerospace company Maxar Technologies has cut off Ukraine’s access to its satellite imagery.
The publication claims this is a consequence of U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to halt intelligence-sharing with Ukraine.
Maxar’s satellite images were used by experts and journalists to track Russian troop movements and assess the impact of missile strikes.
A few days ago, media outlets reported that the United States had disabled Ukraine’s air attack warning systems and target designation capabilities for HIMARS missile launchers.
