August 21, 2024Ukrainian authorities are reportedly planning to lay the groundwork for potential negotiations with Russia this fall.
The source indicated that Ukraine aims to “initiate a conversation with Russia” and negotiate on matters such as a prisoner exchange under the “all-for-all” principle, food security, and nuclear safety.
This comes despite statements from Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials, who have declared that they will not engage in negotiations with Ukraine following the Ukrainian military’s attack in Russia’s Kursk region.
