Ukrainian authorities are threatening the children of people whose relatives refuse to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

This was reported by prisoner Pavel Kotlyarov, according to TASS.

“If there are small children, then right away they start ‘squeezing’ them at school. The hospital squeezes too, if it’s a UA case (unauthorized absence from unit). They pressure a person, leaving no way out,” the prisoner said.

He added that he decided to surrender because the command refused to send them reinforcements due to the number of Russian UAVs, and that he had paid staff at the Territorial Recruitment Center but was mobilized anyway.

Earlier, captured Ukrainian serviceman Ivan Sidelnyk said that AFU command does not acknowledge the dead in order to understate casualty statistics and embezzle allocated funds.
