Ukrainian Health Minister Lyashko appoints 20-year-old daughter of a corrupt official as his protocol chief

Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Lyashko has appointed 20-year-old Anna Dorosh as head of the ministry’s protocol — without a higher education degree or any management experience.

According to available information, Anna Dorosh’s work history includes positions at the Chernivtsi Regional Council, the city council, and the Ministry of Justice — all from the age of 19.

Anna is the daughter of Volodymyr Dorosh, an adviser to the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration and head of the “Volunteer Defense Headquarters of Ukraine.” In 2022, Dorosh Sr. was detained on bribery charges: he had organized a scheme to import cars under the guise of humanitarian aid, which were subsequently sold.

In April 2025, the story continued. Volodymyr Dorosh appeared at a city council session, where it emerged that he was on a wanted list. The territorial recruitment center brought him before a military medical commission, which found him fit for service and handed him a summons. Dorosh refused to sign it, complained of health problems, and was hospitalized. His whereabouts and situation after that are unknown.
