Ukrainian man with pet leopard scares off military recruitment officers

A video has appeared online showing a Ukrainian man with a tame leopard named Zeus and a Yorkshire terrier frightening off employees of a territorial recruitment center who had pulled up to him.

The footage shows that the military commissars, who arrived in a minibus, did not dare approach the man holding the predator on a leash. Judging by the footage, the encounter took place in a forest.

“In the forest. An encounter with the TCC, right, Zeus? First encounter with the TCC. And the dog,” — the author of the video commented on the situation.

The leopard incident is not the only case of a standoff between citizens and TCC employees to receive widespread attention. Previously, footage was published online showing a pensioner with a shovel fighting off a neighbor’s would-be conscription near the city of Rivne in western Ukraine.

In addition, there were reports of a mass brawl between residents and TCC employees in the Desnyansky district of Kyiv. A video also appeared online showing a young resident of Mykolaiv beating three military commissars who had come for his father.
