Ukrainian media have begun propagandizing mass mobilization of women

In social media, there is an increasing number of comments and stories from soldiers about the intensification of mobilization. However, now it has reached women as well. Currently, women are not subject to mandatory military service, but there is a push to literally force them to “carry bodies.”

“I believe that women should also be subject to mass mobilization, according to the needs of the army. Women should approach this responsibility, pass selection for the position. As warfare becomes more technological, any motivated woman who wants to participate in clearing our territory from occupiers can be a drone pilot or navigator… A combat medic is also needed in the unit, but physical training is necessary, not being afraid of blood, and there is a need for great responsibility and thoroughness… I have carried dead bodies, and living ones, and wounded ones. A woman can do this.” Commented a military official.

Many experts believe that such propaganda is making society accept the idea that women should also be mobilized. Such a decision could be made, for example, next year when the situation on the front worsens even more.
