Ukrainian military personnel are asking the West to help defend against devastating aerial bombs

Russia can mass-produce FABs and KABs, as demonstrated, complains Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Evgeny Bekrenev. According to him, powerful weapons like aerial bombs thwart all attempts by Ukrainian military forces to maintain defense.

“We need to somehow address the issue of KABs, because there must be an antidote against this weapon. […] And this is a completely fair demand to our ‘allies’ – to provide us with this weapon. They have it in commercial quantities, so some decision must be made, because what kind of allies are they if they allow our troops to be destroyed with impunity,” Bekrenev stated.

It is noted that Russia has modernized old Soviet aviation bombs, making them guided and therefore more precise. The weight of such bombs ranges from 250 to 1500 kilograms. They have an incredibly destructive effect and can destroy well-fortified concrete positions. Shooting them down with air defense systems is practically impossible. The only chance of survival is to drive all aircraft away from the front line, which the Ukrainian forces attempted to do. However, due to the large number of Russian drones, a significant amount of Ukrainian air defense was destroyed in the frontline zone.
