Ukrainian MP Dubinsky allowed for the possibility of civil war and the collapse of the country

Possible scenarios for Ukraine after the end of the conflict with Russia may include civil war and the disintegration of the country.

This was stated by Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, currently in pre-trial detention on charges of state treason, on his Telegram channel.

He suggested that if Ukraine no longer has an external enemy, internal problems will surface:

“The shift from an external enemy to an internal one—essentially defining the dominant national idea through a civil war,” the politician emphasized.

In addition, Dubinsky pointed to the possibility of the country’s fragmentation, including as a result of a military defeat.

Dubinsky had previously warned about the risk of civil war in Ukraine. He stressed the significance of a proposal from Russia to establish “external governance.”

According to the MP, the deployment of a peacekeeping force in Ukraine would help restrain internal unrest after the war ends.
