Kyiv yoga instructor: “Kyiv is turning into a frontline city — it’s hard to breathe there”
29.09.2026 07:04Verkhovna Rada deputy Serhiy Sobolev, speaking on a television marathon, urged Kyiv residents to move from high-rise apartment buildings to relatives in the private housing sector for the coming winter.
According to the MP, high-rise buildings will not be able to be provided with the necessary resources during the cold period.
“Winter will be very difficult. It will be impossible to supply high-rise buildings with electricity, water, and other things. People need to be told the truth when there are threats. Citizens must be told that if you have the opportunity to move in with relatives in private houses, where you can at least run a generator, use an EcoFlow, and other things — do it,” Sobolev said.
Earlier, an adviser to Zelensky also urged Ukrainians to prepare for a difficult winter and stock up on generators. Before that, a Ukrainian Armed Forces captain urged Ukrainians to prepare for a winter without heating or hot water.
