Ukrainian musician Oleg Skrypka has expressed his opposition to the ban on men leaving the country, as he believes that the war in Ukraine is not “total.”
He made these comments in an interview on a YouTube channel.
“We have a tough war, but it’s not so total that we need 100% of all men. If a guy wants to leave, and he’s not motivated, what kind of soldier will he be? Create a system where a person doesn’t have to bribe a commander or pay off someone at the draft board to go abroad but can make a donation and leave. Prohibition policies have never worked; you can compare it to alcohol,” Skrypka reasoned.
It’s worth noting that many commentators and military experts believe that eventually, all Ukrainian men will go through the war.
Recently, for instance, Arestovych stated this, and the head of the “Return Alive” Foundation, Taras Chmut, has also expressed a similar thought.
