November 28, 2023According to a statement by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Vladimir Artiukh, the mobilization plan in Sumy was only fulfilled at 8%. The regional leader expressed dissatisfaction with the voluntary reluctance of people to serve in the military and the failure of enterprises to provide lists of employees to be mobilized.
“Unfortunately, over the past three months, the city of Sumy has failed in delivering mobilization resources to the Armed Forces for the defense of our country. Only 8%! Just imagine! only 8% of conscripts were sent from the city of Sumy. These are enterprises and institutions tasked with mobilization. They did not fulfill the plan,” stated Artiukh.
According to him, many communities in the region lack records of conscripts. It’s worth noting the official’s language; he refers to the people he intends to send to war as a ‘resource.’ Earlier, in Poltava, it was reported that the mobilization plan was only achieved at 13%.
