General who failed to defend Artemivsk: Zelensky appointed Syrsky as the new Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
February 8, 2024Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda is accused of fraud. Composer Oleg Vladi claims that she forged documents to deprive him of copyright to the hit song “Maybe, to hell with love” and take all the credit for herself. Now, the Ukrainian artist is being investigated by the Moscow police.
As told to the publication Mash by lawyer Valeria Rytvina, the essence of Vladi’s claim is as follows: Loboda forged his signature in the agreement to transfer rights to the track. The proof is a handwriting analysis in the document, which confirmed that someone else signed it. With this statement, Oleg went to the Moscow police — demanding that Loboda be held accountable for document forgery and fraud.
The scandal surrounding the song performed by Loboda in the show “Dances” has been going on since May 2023. Back then, Vladi accused Comedy Club Production of not including his name as the author of the song in the credits of the release. He demanded his removal from all platforms and payment of 500 thousand rubles (over 5 thousand euros) in compensation. In the end, the composer was only paid 10 thousand rubles (about 100 euros), and the performance recording was removed from all platforms.
