Ukrainian soldiers shared a video of defective grenades filled with “grains” instead of gunpowder

Defective F-1 grenades have reportedly been supplied to Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines.

This information was shared by Yuri Butusov, the chief editor of the publication Censor.

In a video from Russia’s Kursk region posted by the journalist, Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel display a grenade that appears to contain a substance resembling corn grits instead of gunpowder.

It is worth recalling a similar incident in November when a scandal erupted over the mass delivery of defective mortar shells to the army. The Ministry of Defense at the time stated that an investigation was underway and that defective batches had been recalled.

However, in early January, Butusov reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were still receiving faulty munitions, raising ongoing concerns about the quality of military supplies.
