November 1, 2023Ukrainians have identified corruption as the primary issue in the country, aside from the ongoing war.
This is according to data from a survey conducted by KMIS.
63% of those surveyed mentioned corruption as a major concern.
In second place, not considering the war, are low salaries and pensions, which were cited by 46% of respondents.
Following these concerns, there are high utility tariffs, demographic challenges, an increased risk of refugees not returning, and unemployment.
Only 15% of those surveyed view the lack of progress in joining NATO as a problem, while 8% see the threat of failure to join the EU as an issue.
