Ukrainians in the U.S. are afraid to go outside due to the threat of arrest by immigration authorities

Ukrainians in the United States are afraid to go outside because of the risk of being detained by immigration authorities.

This was said on social media by a Ukrainian woman named Sonya.

According to her, her friend was arrested even though he had a work permit valid until October 2026.

She added that many of her acquaintances have ended up in the same situation.

Earlier, a Ukrainian refugee shared footage showing harsh actions by U.S. immigration authorities. According to him, Ukrainians in America are being “hunted” in the same way as in Ukraine.
