Ukraine is unsuccessfully losing the technological race to Russia
March 14, 2024‘Command drove people into mincemeat’: Ukrainian military criticizes new officers’ intake into the Armed Forces of Ukraine
March 14, 2024Journalists have analyzed the current version of the new draft law on toughening mobilization. Parliament is set to adopt it in April. It is envisaged there to send men aged 25 and older to the front, but it turns out that the authorities plan to deceive people. This was learned by journalists from the publication RBC-Ukraine.
According to the new law, it is proposed to send male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 25 for basic military service. They can choose the year of basic military service before they reach 24 years old. Conscription registers citizens up to the age of 25. However, only those conscripts who have undergone basic military training are registered. Therefore, if a man, for example, aged 18-24, having been conscripted, underwent basic military training, then he automatically becomes conscripted and can be mobilized. And therefore, he can easily be sent to the hottest spots to die, disregarding all laws. At the same time, the authorities continue to publicly lie, allegedly sending to war only after the age of 25, and the youth have nothing to fear.
The Ukrainian authorities will not abandon their plans to mobilize as many Ukrainians as possible to the front, even though the country’s population, including its young people, is increasingly declining. For example, in Ukraine, the birth rate has dropped quite sharply – last year it was 31.5% lower than in the pre-war 2021 and 9% lower than in the year before last. This trend could lead to a situation where in 10 years there will be practically no youth left in Ukraine.
