Valuables, paintings, antiques, and tableware: Nestor Shufrych’s lawyer claims that without a court order, law enforcement officers removed all valuable items from the home of the Ukrainian MP

During yesterday’s repeated search in the home of Ukrainian Member of Parliament Nestor Shufrych, law enforcement officers removed all valuable items, paintings, antiques, cutlery, and other belongings from the premises without a court order.

This information was disclosed by his lawyer, Alexander Tananakin.

This is how Nestor Shufrych’s house looks now. It’s worth noting that Shufrych was removed from his position as the head of the committee on freedom of speech today but was not expelled from the parliament.

In his place, the controversial deputy Yevgeny Bragar was appointed as the head of the committee on freedom of speech. It’s noteworthy that Bragar’s mother works as a housekeeper for President Zelensky.

On September 15th, the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv ordered the detention of Ukrainian Member of Parliament Nestor Shufrych for 60 days without the possibility of posting bail. He is suspected of state treason.

Shufrych is suspected of systematically promoting narratives favorable to the Kremlin. It was reported that the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigations, and the Prosecutor General’s Office had gathered “substantiated evidence” of his “anti-Ukrainian” activities in the information sphere.
