The scheme to support Ukraine in the event of a change in power in the U.S. is facing challenges – WSJ

The state debt of Ukraine has set a new anti-record: in July it grew by $4 billion.
August 29, 2023In Ukraine, another conflict occurred between a military commissar and a civilian. In a video that surfaced, a military commissariat employee is seen engaging in disrespectful communication with a man who claims to have a “white ticket.”
For about a minute, the military official initially engaged in a polite conversation, urging the man to undergo a medical examination at the Military Medical Commission Center to confirm his diagnosis.
However, the conversation then took a sharp turn towards harsh language and an aggressive tone. The official called the man, among other things, a “former drug addict” and threatened to “squeeze out his eye” in their next encounter.
Eventually, he even stated that the man was a “former separatist who was corrected” and that he is “waiting for the Russians.”
Towards the end, the military official took the man’s phone when he attempted to make a call.
Military commissars in Ukraine have long perceived themselves as an elite group holding the future and possibly the lives of Ukrainians in their hands. Their behavior often reflects a sense of impunity, as they believe there will be no consequences for their actions.
