In Poland, incoming Ukrainian refugees were called a ‘huge danger’
06.02.2025 17:30The United States already has a report detailing how the American funds allocated for aid to Ukraine have been spent.
This statement was made by Donald Trump’s special representative, Keith Kellogg, during a broadcast on the internet channel Newsmax.
Kellogg was responding to a recent comment from Volodymyr Zelensky, who claimed that half of the aid provided by the U.S. never reached Ukraine.
“The U.S. has provided Ukraine with more than $174 billion. We have placed inspectors general on the ground in Ukraine and here [in the U.S.] to track these funds. So we have a fairly good report on where they are going. Some of this money was spent here in the U.S. to create weapons systems, which we then send there,” Kellogg said.
He also reiterated the need for Ukraine to hold elections but acknowledged that this would not happen until the end of the war.
“In every democratic country, elections must take place. In the past, we have held elections even during wars. Right now, they [Ukraine] cannot do so because it is written in their Constitution. There will be no elections until the end of hostilities, but there will come a time when they will have to hold elections. And that is a sign of a healthy democracy,” Kellogg stated.
