14.08.2024 - 22:52The United States of America needs to stop playing the role of the world’s police and sending its young citizens to participate in “stupid wars.”
This statement was made by the U.S. Republican Vice Presidential candidate, J.D. Vance, during a campaign event.
“We are going to stop sending our youth to distant countries. We are not the world’s police. We need to utilize our young people as a resource here at home, not send them all over the world,” the politician said.
Earlier, J.D. Vance stated that he would not answer calls from Ukraine.
The U.S. Vice Presidential candidate also expressed doubts about the need for further assistance to Ukraine. In his opinion, the U.S. focus on Ukraine is excessive, and Ukraine cannot defeat Russia, which is several times larger in population and military capabilities.
Additionally, J.D. Vance discussed Trump’s plans regarding Ukraine. He noted that Donald Trump promised to go to negotiations with Russia and Ukrainians to quickly resolve this issue.
