March 19, 2024Former Chief of the Polish General Staff, Raimund Andrzejczak, stated that Ukraine’s losses are estimated in “millions, not hundreds of thousands.”
He said this in an interview with Polsat News.
“There is a shortage of more than 10 million people. In my estimation, the losses should be counted in millions, not hundreds of thousands. The country lacks resources, there is no one to fight. Ukrainians are losing this war,” Andrzejczak said.
He mentioned deficiencies in troop recruitment, problems related to mobilization, and equipment supplies. The general believes that changing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not alter the strategic situation.
“There are no miracles in war. General Syrsky has the same dilemmas as General Zaluzhny. It turned out that he had to withdraw troops and bring the front line into order. All the problems that Zaluzhny had remained,” Andrzejczak said.
He also called on Poland to prepare for war with Russia “in two, three, or five years.”
