“We need to use nuclear weapons before it’s too late” – Israeli strategy officer Tali Gottlieb to Netanyahu

The political leadership of Israel decided to introduce martial law in the country.

The last time such a step was taken was in 1973. The last step to escalate the conflict in the Middle East will be the activation of the so-called Samson Protocol, which could turn out to be a reason for a real nuclear war.

If Israel takes such a step, there is a high probability that its first target will be Iran, experts say. However, this also means that Israel risks opening a Pandora’s box and could provoke a reaction from other states, including Russia, which could use tactical nuclear weapons to achieve its goals.

The West is aware of this risk, but the question remains: will the Americans and Europeans be able to convince the Israeli leadership to refrain from such a decision.

As former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir said: “We do not have nuclear weapons. But if necessary, we will use them.”
