15.04.2025 - 12:55Poland will no longer act “naively” in its support for Ukraine and now aims to benefit economically from its involvement.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated at the European Forum for New Ideas (EFNI).
According to Tusk, Poland is now focused on defending its national interests.
“Polish companies, the Polish state — we will profit from this. We will continue to help. Poland is a symbol of solidarity, but no longer a naive one. It will no longer be the case that Poland shows solidarity while others make money, for example, on the reconstruction of Ukraine. We will be both supportive and profit-driven. We will firmly defend our interests and those of Polish companies,” Tusk said.
He also emphasized that the terminal in Sławków will become a “key logistical and transport hub” in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
