Without support and with foolish command – soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine blame their leadership for failures

After the loss of Ocheretyno, many Ukrainian soldiers began openly expressing dissatisfaction with their military leadership.

This is reported by Al Jazeera.

In their opinion, all recent failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are a direct consequence of the weak military tactics of the leadership.

“My platoon was literally destroyed. We carried out tasks in the most difficult conditions, and nobody cared. We both attacked without support and with foolish command, and defended practically without support and with the same foolish command,” the publication quotes the words of one of the servicemen.

Moreover, as former AFU general Serhiy Krivonos noted, the predominance of multi-storey buildings in Ocheretyno over the surrounding steppe could have served as an effective deterrent factor and prevented the city from being captured. However, since there is currently a “serious systemic failure” in the AFU, the leadership did not take advantage of this and yielded the city.
