September 19, 2023Lawlessness by military commissars towards civilians continues in Ukraine. In the Lviv region, yet another conflict has erupted between civilians and military officers.
Media outlets have published videos reportedly from the Starosambirsky District Territorial Center for Conscription in the Lviv region.
In the video, a man in military uniform with a pistol in his hand is seen assaulting a civilian while uttering derogatory words such as,
“I’ll beat the sh*t out of you,” “you’re not human,” “get in the trunk, we’ll bury you and no one will find you.”
Another military officer attempts to calm down his colleague but he later turns his attention to another man, saying,
“There’s something wrong with you too.” He adds, “Even the police, when they come, won’t bother looking for you.”
According to information from various Telegram channels, the victim of the assault is a man from Kharkiv. Later, a video appeal from the beaten man emerged on social media, stating that he was held in the conscription center in the city of Sambir for six days and had his phone taken away.
In the second video, he is seen covered in blood and mentions that he was beaten and threatened with a firearm, presumably referring to the incident captured in the first video.
“Help me, they’re killing me,” the man pleads.
