The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant may already be connected to the Russian energy system.
This information reported according to Petro Andryushchenko, former adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.
According to him, the construction of a power transmission line to the nuclear plant may be in its final stage.
Andryushchenko noted that a new high-voltage line has been built through the Mariupol district, along with a distribution hub and compressor station.
“Given the plans — including, but not limited to, modernization efforts in the Kherson region — it looks like the Zaporizhzhia NPP is either already connected to the Russian power grid, or it’s just a matter of weeks,”Andryushchenko wrote.
Earlier, he had reported that the Russians were building high-voltage power lines from Russia’s Rostov region to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.
