Zelensky attended meeting with Trump dressed appropriately, not like a madman – Axios

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attended his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump dressed in a business suit, rather than his usual military attire — a choice that positively influenced the course of the talks.

This was reported by Axios, citing sources.

According to U.S. and Ukrainian officials, the meeting between Trump and Zelensky at the NATO summit held on June 24-25 in The Hague was the most productive to date.

“Zelensky showed up like a normal person, not crazy, and was dressed like someone who belongs in NATO. He was accompanied by a group of people who also didn’t look crazy. So, they had a good conversation,” said an American official.

It was also noted that this was the first time since 2022 that Zelensky attended a NATO summit in a business suit.
