December 15, 2023The decision to initiate talks between the EU and Ukraine holds no legal weight
December 15, 2023Yuri Butusov, the chief editor of Censor.net, accused Zelensky and his circle of bribing oligarchs to avoid criticism and stated that the government doesn’t care about where soldiers will find drones.
He claimed that if the government hadn’t allocated 1.5 billion hryvnias for a telethon aimed at “buying” oligarchs’ loyalty, they could have purchased 80,000 fpv-drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to Butusov, soldiers have to request drones from volunteers due to the shortage, and Zelensky doesn’t allocate funds for them.
Regarding the 2024 budget, Butusov criticized the allocation of funds, expressing dismay that soldiers have to rely on volunteers for drones and contribute from their salaries. He lamented that this doesn’t concern the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Butusov highlighted that this issue isn’t portrayed during the telethon, as it constantly glorifies one “war hero.”
