The Verkhovna Rada continues to discuss the issue of mobilizing women
30.10.2025 22:58Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has extended martial law in the country for another 90 days.
This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada on its official Telegram channel.
“President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilization for 90 days — starting from November 5, 2025,” the statement said.
According to the documents signed by the head of state, martial law and mobilization will remain in effect until February 3, 2026.
Zelensky submitted the corresponding bill to the Verkhovna Rada on October 20. Before that, martial law was last extended on July 25.
Earlier, it was reported that due to martial law, local elections in Ukraine were canceled. They were originally scheduled to take place on the last Sunday of October.
