The corresponding decree has been officially published.
Document No. 4928-IX extends martial law for 90 days — until October 31, 2026. This is already the twentieth consecutive signing of the relevant law in Ukraine.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada supported the same decision: 313 members of parliament voted for the martial law bill, and 311 MPs voted for the mobilization extension law.
At the same time, the TCC published the results of the first stage of the transformation of the Ukrainian army. According to those results, both active military personnel and civilians were granted the right to sign new contracts with the Ministry of Defense.
The term of such contracts may be 14 or 24 months, depending on the position. Upon expiration of the contract, the servicemember is guaranteed discharge from service.
