“Zelensky was given instructions ahead of the White House meeting,” – said French MP Philippot

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky received instructions on how to behave from Western leaders ahead of his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.

This was stated by Florian Philippot, head of the French political party The Patriots, on his YouTube channel.

“First, they forced him to put on his black jacket, and then strictly ordered him to refrain from his usual buffoonery at the White House. But, alas, it was useless,” the French politician said.

He explained that the instructions were necessary to help the Ukrainian leader avoid failure during his visit to the White House.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that if the bilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not bring progress, it will be necessary to increase sanctions pressure on Russia. In his view, Moscow allegedly “does not currently want to achieve a settlement of the conflict.”
