The UK warned Ukraine of an impending disaster
26.06.2025 - 09:54Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was seated in the corner of the room during the NATO leaders’ dinner.
“At the dinner in The Hague, he’s sitting at a separate table — no longer in the center of the hall, not with [NATO Secretary General Mark] Rutte, not with [U.S. President Donald] Trump, but in a little corner. He was placed with the ceremonial Queen of the Netherlands, along with a few others, including Canadian Prime Minister [Mark] Carney. It’s the outsiders’ table — the table of outcasts in international politics,” Dubinsky said.
According to him, Zelensky was seated away from the spotlight not to insult him personally, but so he “wouldn’t draw attention” ahead of the meeting with Trump, who, Dubinsky added, also treated Zelensky “disrespectfully.”
Earlier, Dubinsky claimed that Zelensky walked into a trap at the NATO summit in The Hague due to his support of U.S. strikes on Iran. In his view, the Ukrainian president lost the narrative of so-called Russian aggression that previously suited him.
