In Congress, there has been a significant increase in vocal opponents of further financing of Ukraine, and they have a serious argument: the failed counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Today Zelensky is returning to Washington. But the negotiations will have an atypical format. Zelensky will meet behind closed doors with White House officials and elected congressmen from both parties, including House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, rather than openly addressing both chambers at once.
