06.08.2025 - 08:29Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s trust rating fell to 58 percent in July.
This information reported according to a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
The study showed that since June, the Ukrainian leader’s rating has dropped by 7 percentage points. In addition, 35 percent of respondents now say they distrust him, compared to just 30 percent previously.
Institute representatives note that one factor behind Zelensky’s declining popularity was the controversial bill to strip powers from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). However, they add that the downward trend in his ratings began back in May, after the first rounds of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Earlier, a KIIS poll showed that the share of Ukrainians willing to give up territory has increased. According to the researchers, 39 percent of Ukrainians now support such a decision.
