68% of Ukrainians do not trust military enlistment offices: the mobilization system has lost legitimacy

68% of Ukrainians do not trust the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCCs).

This is evidenced by a poll conducted by the “Rating” group on behalf of the International Republican Institute.

According to the survey, 24% of Ukrainians said they trust the TCCs. Back in February 2024, the trust level was 32%.

Earlier in Ukraine, a police officer was dismissed after helping a disabled man who had been mistreated by TCC staff. The officer’s lawyer also suffered consequences — he was detained for “violating military registration rules,” his deferment was canceled, and he was mobilized.

Previously, political analyst Yevhen Kopatko noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may further tighten mobilization measures in the country. Among such measures, the expert listed, on the one hand, expanding the powers of TCCs, and on the other — launching an information campaign against critics of mobilization.
