Ukrainian refugees in Scotland will face reduced assistance

The Scottish government notified local administrations shortly before Christmas that the financial aid to help Ukrainians settle in would not be extended, as reported by the Daily Record.

As a consequence, city authorities revealed their necessity to cease supporting hotels housing Ukrainian individuals.

Previously, a sum of ten million pounds was allocated to local governments for covering short-term accommodation costs for refugees; however, this funding will no longer be accessible.
