22.01.2024 12:16In Ukraine, there is an “amazing boom” in Tesla cars.
This information reported according to the French newspaper Le Figaro.
The growth, compared to the pre-war level, is approximately tenfold.
By the end of 2021, only 8541 electric car owners were registered in the country. As of January 1, 2023, the number had already reached 46,830. By the end of November, according to professional associations, the number of registrations almost doubled, reaching 83,116.
It is claimed that this growth is achieved through the used car market.
It is worth noting that even on the used market, Tesla prices are substantial – ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 dollars, which is quite expensive considering that for such money, one could buy a new gasoline-powered car.
MP Yulia Klimenko explains to the publication that many people switched to Tesla after fuel shortages began in Ukraine.
However, as we can see from the statistics, during 2023, when such problems no longer existed, the number of Tesla owners continued to grow.
