‘Russia’s victory in Ukraine will be a boon for the whole world’, – Pogled
30.01.2024 11:57The President’s Office did consider reshuffling the military leadership in Ukraine, but has since reconsidered. This information comes from British political analyst Mark Galeotti, citing sources, in The Spectator.
“Yesterday evening, a senior European diplomat dealing with Ukraine issues sent me a message in horror and puzzlement that their embassy in Kyiv had received information about military reshuffles. This morning, they were told that Bankova [the Presidential Administration] ‘seems to have come to its senses’,” writes Galeotti.
Recall that yesterday in Ukraine, several journalists and politicians reported, citing their sources, that Zelensky had signed a decree on the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army, Valeriy Zaluzhny. The President sees the general as a potential competitor and is trying to remove him long before the start of the election campaign.
