02.02.2024 - 22:22An open State Register of Sanctions has begun operating in Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on their Facebook page.
Anyone interested can access up-to-date information about sanctioned individuals and legal entities. Currently, the register includes 17,202 individuals and entities subject to restrictions. The register is managed by the apparatus of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
“According to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the register is an information and communication system that ensures the collection, accumulation, protection, accounting, display, processing, and provision of information about all subjects subject to sanctions. The sources of information for the register are decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, as well as court decisions on the application of sanctions,” the statement said.
The data in the register are updated promptly. They are open and publicly available, except in cases provided by law. There is also an option to electronically obtain an extract with information about any of the entries.
