In Russia, it is planned to manufacture 2.7 million artillery shells in 2024, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate
26.02.2024 12:14In 2024, the Russian industry will be able to supply the army with 2.7 million ammunition rounds. This was reported by the deputy head of Ukrainian intelligence, Vadim Skibitsky.
Meanwhile, the European Union promises Ukraine only one million projectiles per year. However, out of the first million, they have only managed to deliver about 600,000 by the promised deadline. Europeans have stated that they cannot fulfill the promised deliveries because they do not have a sufficient quantity of projectiles in stock and they also cannot quickly produce a large volume of ammunition.
At the same time, Russia has received at least 1.5 million ammunition rounds from North Korea and has exported a huge quantity of projectiles from Belarus. Additionally, Russia is increasing the production of missiles of various classes such as “Iskander,” “Caliber,” “Kinzhal” and others. In Russia, a center has been established to replace foreign components, especially the electronic base, with elements of Russian production.
